These cups are made from 18/8 stainless steel, an incredibly durable material with a high resistance to corrosion.  The exterior non-lead paint may wear in time but will have no effect on the function and use of these cups (refer to care instructions).

Ecococoon products are both hygenic and environmentally sound as they are easy to clean and do not require the use of harsh chemicals.  A simple hand wash with mild detergent and a soft cloth is sufficient.
